Who is this Apprenticeship for?
Apprenticeships are for those looking for a job which allows them to carry on learning, or who are already in employment and want to gain further qualifications.
Entry requirements
Apprenticeships are available to anybody over the age of 16.
Content
An Apprenticeship is made up of several components, which must all be completed to pass the qualification. These are:
- Technical Certificate
- NVQ Level 3
- Key Skills
About Electrical Installation
Electrical and electronic service engineers specialise in servicing and repairing electrical equipment.
As an Electrical Installation Apprentice, you will learn about the installation, maintenance and servicing of electrics and wiring systems in domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
Assessment
Assessment is in the workplace and takes place whilst the apprentice performs their normal work duties. This shows that they are acquiring the skills and knowledge to effectively carry out the job.
