About Business Administration
Administrators play a crucial role in organisations by handling day-to-day tasks making sure offices run smoothly.

Your duties will depend on your employer. It’s likely that you’ll be working with a team or member of staff to handle various tasks, such as typing up board meeting documents, putting financial information together in spreadsheets, sending the daily post or faxing and photocopying confidential documents. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.

The great advantage of business and administration is that you can work almost anywhere. Administration roles are also an excellent starting point to move into management once you have more experience.

Assessment
Assessment is in the workplace and takes place whilst the apprentice performs their normal work duties. This shows that they are acquiring the skills and knowledge to effectively carry out the job.
