Advanced Post-Graduate Management Certificate (NQF Level 7)
Who is this course for?:
This level 7 programme is designed for middle/intermediate line managers who are committed to a long term career in management and wish to gain professional status from the Chartered Management Institute.
Course content:
The focus of the level 7 programme is that of the organisation as a whole i.e macro-management. It therefore, centres on strategy and planning.
Core units:
Advanced professional development – includes a report/dissertation
Managing change in organisations
Specialist units include:
Strategic planning and implementation
Managing finance for strategic managers
Strategic marketing management
Human resource planning and development
Assessment:
Assessment is continuous and internal, but is externally examined by Edexcel.
Entry Requirements:
At least three years’ vocational experience and the abliity to write and calculate effectively.
Possible progression:
To an MBA or other Masters degrees. Hopwood Hall College has an arrangement with The University of Huddersfield whereby our Level 7 students are guaranteed a place on the final year of their MBA Programme
