Who is the course for?

This course is designed as a simple step by step introduction to information technology.So, if you have had very limited use of computers, or none at all, and wish to develop a foundation understanding in computing, this is the course for you.

Is this course for me?

This course can be completed within five half days, 15 hours classroom time.

You don’t need any experience of computing.You will need a good standard of English to get the most out of this course.

  • Web Mail
  • File Management
  • Foundation Word Processing

What will I be able to do?

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Surf the internet for potential employment opportunities and any other business or personal uses
  • Send, receive and organise e-mails from any personal computer with an internet connection
  • Create, edit and organise files and folders
  • Write a simple employment application letter or any other personal or business communication

What do I get out of it?

You will receive an eDCC qualification in each specific area of learning listed above.The eDCC is verified by the Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations board (OCR).These are recognised industry standard qualifications are
